About the event
Join us for a unique two-day workshop where you'll explore the ancient art of ceramics in the heart of the Caribbean jungle. This workshop is an opportunity to connect with nature and the millenary traditions of Costa Rica while creating with your own hands.
Experience the JourneyUnder the guidance of Ana Rodulfo from El Barro Vuelve, you will learn to work with local clay to mold and create your own set of cacao cups. We will use ancestral techniques from the region to fire your pieces with wood, surrounded by the lush nature of the farm.
The experience culminates with a cacao ceremony led by Rosa from the Yëyëwak clan of the Bribri community. We will use our creations to honor this sacred tradition, connecting deeply with the cultural roots of the region.
Accommodation and Connection with NatureDuring the workshop, you will stay in cozy shared bungalows designed to provide a comfortable experience close to nature. Each day, you will enjoy nutritious and delicious meals prepared with fresh, local ingredients that will energize you for each creative session.
Finca Las Hormigas, located in the majestic jungle of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, offers a peaceful and revitalizing environment, perfect for disconnecting from the noise and reconnecting with yourself and the earth.
