CULTIVATING LIFE INSIDE & OUT

The Ecology of Being

Yoga, regenerative living, & community awareness in the jungle of Costa Rica

July 22 – 26 | Finca Las Hormigas

Our Intention

In a world that moves too fast, we forget the basics. Eating. Breathing. Living with the Earth instead of on top of it.

This retreat is a space to go back to what matters through simple living, honest movement, and collective rhythm. We don't promise magic. We invite you into presence. The Ecology of Being is for those who are interested in how personal wellbeing connects with the wellbeing of the planet. It's about more than yoga and more than sustainability. It's about how we live, how we relate, how we make life feel more real and less rushed.

If you’re craving a reset that goes deeper than detox smoothies, this is for you!

The Flow

This is a 5-day off-grid retreat where the container is held by:

  • Daily Yoga inspired by the elements (earth, water, fire, air)

  • Permaculture ethics guiding each day (Earth Care, People Care, Fair Share)

  • Workshops that connect land and body: soil health, food fermentation, community collaboration

  • Shared living in a small group, simple bungalows, and a kitchen full of real, nourishing food

The vibe is slow, embodied, and hands-on. Days are structured but spacious. We move, eat, rest, work the land, reflect, and share.

You’ll leave feeling more in sync with your own rhythms and with nature’s.

Day 3 – People Care: Heart-opening yoga, Yamas & Niyamas workshop, community work

Day 4 – Fair Share: Will-focused yoga, fermentation lab, collective compost or harvest

Day 5 – Integration: Breath-focused yoga, closing circle, practical takeaways

Your Guide

DSCF3657.JPEG

This retreat will be guided by Ana, yoga teacher and community member of Finca Las Hormigas.

Ana's approach to yoga is rooted in deep listening, fluid movement, and the belief that spiritual practice happens both on and off the mat.

Her classes weave in yogic philosophy, embodiment, and the simple joy of being in connection with nature.

Ana will be accompanied by other members of the Finca community, who bring their knowledge of regenerative farming, cooking, and communal living.
