Life at Finca Las Hormigas is simple, natural, and deeply connected to the land. Here you’ll live close to nature, sharing community spaces, and enjoying the balance between comfort and sustainability. From cozy cabins to flowing spring water, everything here is designed to support a mindful and regenerative way of life.
Our daily life runs on renewable energy and respect for the environment. An off-grid solar system powers the essentials, and spring and rainwater provide clean, fresh water for drinking and everyday use. We use compost dry toilets and simple cold-water showers sourced from the nearby creek: a refreshing and grounding way to cool off in the tropics.
Our cabins are simple and cozy, built with natural materials to blend into the environment, and a living room offers a welcoming space for reading, relaxing, or sharing moments together. While life here is immersed in nature, we stay connected through satellite internet. In addition, our yoga shala provides a serene space to reconnect with yourself.
Beyond the cabins, the land invites you to explore. Wander through lush jungle trails, cool off in our crystal-clear river, or unwind with a rejuvenating session at our natural clay spa. Every corner of the farm offers a chance to connect, recharge, and experience the healing rhythm of the earth.
